This usually makes Socrates Café event a truly inspiring one for people with very different backgrounds. We don’t try to convince each other in anything - we think aloud, we inquire, we listen. Respect is the only main rule.

It’s not a lecture! It’s participants like you who make the discussion a success, organizers just facilitate it. The language of the discussion is English, no special expertise in philosophy is required.
