A cozy workshop for adults where you will get to create a wintertime straw decoration called ‘pavuk’ - ‘a spider’ in Ukrainian. Mariia Ivanyshyn, an artisan from Lviv, Ukraine, will facilitate this workshop.

While a similar decoration exists in other European countries, including Germany, Finland, Estonia, and Poland, you will learn to make the Ukrainian-style one, and if you wish, take it home to add to your festive decor this holiday season. We hope for this to be a moment of togetherness, creativity, and meaningful conversations.

The workshop is part of the "Zatyshok/Gezelligheid" project initiated by the Ukrainian Cultural Center and School "Dzherelo" Amsterdam, made possible thanks to the support of the Culture of Solidarity Fund, The European Cultural Foundation, in partnership with EUNIC Netherlands.
