Welcome to the library at Stadsplein
A library is much more than a place for books. It is a place to learn, meet others, relax, and feel connected. At our library you can find activities, information, and support for all ages. Children, parents, adults, seniors, newcomers, as well as long-time residents are all welcome.

Orientation sessions for non-Dutch speakers
Do you live in Amstelveen, Uithoorn, Aalsmeer, or nearby? Are you new to the Netherlands or do you not speak Dutch yet? This session is for you. You do not need to be a library member.
In a relaxed and friendly setting, we show you what the library offers and how you can use it in daily life.

What you can expect
• Clear information about library services and facilities
• An overview of activities for children, families, and adults
• Information about learning languages, free digital courses and more.
• Coffee, tea or water, and time to ask your questions
• A short tour of the library after the session (it is optional)

You ask, we help. There are no wrong questions.

Good to know:
• Participation is free
• Registration is required
• Location: de Bibliotheek Amstelveen, Stadsplein 102 (take the stairs or elevator to the first floor)
• This activity is wheelchair accessible
